In 2017, the team behind Goldwater completed a first-of-its-kind Statewide Water Conservation Quantification Project for the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB).
Goldwater team members developed methodologies and estimated savings for state-specific conservation activities, measured and quantified more than 547 individual conservation activities, and produced 170 individual utility reports, 15 regional water planning group reports, and a comprehensive statewide report.
Individual utility reports quantified activity and water loss reduction savings, assessed individual and state water plan conservation goals, and suggested cost effective activities that could be realistically implemented to meet future state water plan objectives.
Our Blue Platform uses this vast wealth of knowledge and experience to deliver a seamless user experience and effortlessly complete the difficult task of quantifying conservation activities for utilities of all types, sizes, service area attributes, and climates. The result is a highly effective tool for state agencies and wholesale water providers that syncs consumption, conservation, reporting, and planning with their constituent water utilities.
